1. About this schedule
This schedule describes how long GIF it keeps biometric data — face photos you choose and the facial geometry derived from them — and when it is permanently destroyed.
What this covers. Face photos you select or take in the app, and the facial landmark data derived from them, when they are sent to our servers to create a GIF.
Purpose. Solely to create the personalized GIF you request. We never sell, lease or trade biometric data, never use it to train or improve AI models, and never use it to identify you.
2. Retention schedule

| Creation fails because of the GIF itself (e.g. no usable face) | Immediately |
| Creation fails because of a temporary technical problem on our side | Within 24 hours — kept only so the GIF can be retried and delivered, then deleted automatically whether or not the retry succeeds |
| Third-party AI services that process your photo | Under contract, for the duration of processing only, and not used for their own purposes (see our Subprocessors page) |
In every case, biometric data is permanently destroyed no later than 24 hours after it is received — far within the maximum period allowed by law (when the purpose has been satisfied, or within 3 years of your last interaction).
3. On your device
Photos you choose stay on your own device until you delete them. You can delete saved faces in the app at any time.
4. Your choices
Face features are optional. You can withdraw consent at any time in Settings → Privacy; we then stop all processing of your face data.
